I had always wanted to visit thie museum when I had read about it a few years ago and had done some on-line research.

As a professional photographer, I took many photos of the museum and Central Street and put them together in a slideshow presentation with music show at the Chabad Shul in Columbia, Maryland where I daven. I uploaded the presentation to my Photoshop web site. The web site address is "www.photoshop.com/users/jsgreen1855", then click on "Slideshow" to view the presentation. Please feel free to see the presentation. (Please note that this is for personal viewing and enjoyment only as I have not requested permission to use the music.)

Also, there is a picture in the museum that must be turned. On the second floor, over the right shoulder of the statue of a man sitting at a desk typing, is a drawing of Moshe holding the 2 tablets and looking down. The drawing must be turned 90 degrees clockwise - Moshe should be looking up. You can see what I'm refering to in the slideshow.

Thank you very much.

Jeff Greenfield, jgreen1855@aol.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7011869674701862738.post-20676018203124863102012-12-27T12:35:20.471-05:002012-12-27T12:35:20.471-05:00What I did was, once I scanned all my family photo...What I did was, once I scanned all my family photos, was to reorganize them into new photo albums, so that they will have a "fresh home". I decided to organize them by family, e.g. my own, my uncle's family, etc., my family pre-WWII, and after. It all depends on what makes sense for you.

This way you will best preserve them materially, plus many of them will now have fresh labels on the photo backings.

Steven Laskyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15725888343749198708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7011869674701862738.post-73005458001692425012012-12-27T10:01:49.753-05:002012-12-27T10:01:49.753-05:00Thanks for the thoughts. These are now on disks in the hands of my sibblings as well as my computer and back-up disk. I took the time to also label each picture (file name) with comments written on the back of photos or atleast who each person was and approx year. Now what to do with the box of loose photos??/ can't seem to think about throwing them away....
jefarlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01664371784504068760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7011869674701862738.post-17514531208369138282012-12-20T13:08:35.335-05:002012-12-20T13:08:35.335-05:00Thanks for this article! It is a tender love story of two young adults living in Salzburg at the time when the Nazi war machine enters Austria. This compelling historical novel presents scenes and situations of Jews in ghettos and concentration camps, with particular attention to Theresienstadt and Auschwitz. It explores the dazzling beauty of young love, powerful faith and enduring bravery in a lurid world where the innocent are murdered. Jacob’s Courage examines a constellation of emotions during a time of incomprehensible brutality.

Just imagine if most of our high school students had the same opportunity to learn the truth about life and death for Jews in the Shoah. The more we all learn about genocide, the better our progeny will be able to avoid it.

Charles Weinblatt
Author, Jacob's Courage
http://jacobscourage.wordpress.com/Charleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10543105906628694496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7011869674701862738.post-7990220004805492482010-11-01T17:50:47.384-04:002010-11-01T17:50:47.384-04:00this is good news.
